In general, vehicle owners have difficulty in accepting that the software operating the modules can be problematic. Many of them have never been informed that their vehicles are equipped with modules that use software. It is hard to believe that a module that has been functioning effectively for years has suddenly a need for a new software version. |

Like Microsoft, Adobe, Java, etc. that send messages indicating that a software update is available, automakers periodically revise their software and make available there new releases. |

We have tried, as technicians, to keep up to date with all the electronic components that have, since 1998, overwhelmed vehicles, vehicle owner lag even a larger gap in technological knowledge. Our customers rave about all the gadgets of their vehicle, but pay little attention to the fact that almost all the advances in automotive technology over the last 50 years have electronic components. |
